Mukha Lepam Therapy

Mukh Lepam is an ancient ayurvedic therapy use to rejuvenate your face skin. Mukha Lepam is a Sanskrit language word; Mukha means Face, and Lepam means Paste. It’s basically a facial treatment in which herbal paste and oils are applied over the face, specially designed to detoxify and cleanse the skin.

At Ayura Ayurvedic Clinic in Abu Dhabi, discover the complete therapeutic benefits of Mukha Lepam. We combine an ayurvedic holistic approach with authenticity for your face nourishment.

How Mukha Lepam is Performed:

Consultation:

Before starting treatment, therapists analyze your face skin type and texture. It helps to select the most suitable ingredients for Lepam.

Face cleansing and Steam

Experts clean your face with gentle, warm water to remove any makeup and residue. Steam is given for 5 to 8 minutes. It opens your skin pores and allows the herbs to penetrate deeper into the skin tissues.

Lepam application

Warm Lepam is applied over the forehead, cheeks, chin, and nose. Cover your face with a warm, damp cloth or light muslin for 20 to 30 minutes.

Lepam removal:

Lepam is gently removed with wet cotton pads in a circular motion.

After-care:

Light moisturizer, herbal oil, or rose water is applied over the face according to your skin type. The patient is advised to avoid heavy makeup or sun exposure for 1 to 2 days.
