How Shiro Vasti Therapy is Performed:   

Consultation:

Patient positioning:  

Patient lies on the massage table with proper neck support. Cushions or sheets are placed over the shoulder for hygiene and comfort.  

Dough preparation:  

A dough is prepared from gram or wheat flour. Thick dough is tightly placed in a round shape over the head.  

Oil preparation:  

Selected oils are warmed at a suitable temperature and kept in a thermos to maintain their temperature throughout the session.  

Oil pouring:  

Oil is poured into the dough until it is filled. Oil is retained for 30 to 45 minutes generally.  

Monitoring:  

Experts monitor the oil temperature and the patient’s response. It ensures the safety and effectiveness of therapy.  

Dough-removal: 

After the retention time, experts gently remove the dough. The excess oil is wiped off with warm towels. They softly used a towel on the scalp to avoid harsh rubbing.
