Pichu Therapy

Pichu is a gentle yet effective ayurvedic therapy, used to relief neurological and physiological disorders. Literally meaning of Pichu is medicated cloth. In this therapy, a folded cotton cloth is dipped in warm medicated oil. It is applied over the affected areas to balance pitta dosha and restore harmony.

At Ayura Ayurvedic Clinic, experts perform authentic Ayurvedic therapies, including Pichu therapy. We guarantee an authentic application that enhances its healing benefits and vitality.

Pichu Therapy

How Pichu Therapy is Performed:

Consultation:

At Ayura, our therapists examine the current medical condition, history, and body type. It helps to identify the root cause and select the right herbal oil blend.

Preparation of medicated oil:

Selected herbs are infused into medicated oils. These herbs contain anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Oils are boiled at a suitable temperature that penetrates deeper into the tissue.

Pichu application:

A cotton cloth is folded into a thick pad. It is dipped into the warm medicated oil and applied over the body. It relaxes your muscles and provides instant relief.

Re-application:

Therapists dip this folded cloth until it’s completely soaked. They also change it with fresh pads to maintain the temperature and consistency.

Duration and monitoring:

Pichu therapy usually lasts for 30 to 40 minutes. Experts monitor the patient’s response to this therapy to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the sessions.

Gentle Massage:

After removing pads, experts gently massage over the treated area. It enhances blood circulation and therapeutic benefits.

After-care:

Excess oil is wiped off with cotton pads or warm water. The patient takes some rest, allowing the oil to penetrate deeper into the muscles. They are advised to avoid cold exposure and heavy meals.
